Great place to rest Nice tropical atmosphere, well organized, great services. Order a cocktail with Edward and you will get a delicious drink with a big, friendly smile. The guesthouse provides wifi, good food and comfortable accomodation. Ideal to rest and continue travelling.

Beautiful Guest House, Super Friendly Staff! We stayed for a night at Papyrus at the beginning and end of our 12-day Ugandan safari and were very impressed by the excellent service and beautiful property at Papyrus! Fatima and her staff were all very friendly and made us feel at home on our first night in Uganda, which we greatly appreciated! We had dinner and breakfast during our stay and the food and coffee was top notch. I would absolutely recommend Papyrus to any travelers!

Papyrus stole a piece of my heart! We miss you already, Gift. SO pleasantly surprised with Papyrus! Given how close it is to the airport, I did not expect much, just figured it would be a place for us to rest after a long day of travel before starting our incredible safari trip the next day. But it became so much more than that, and I feel I left a piece of my heart here! The place itself is so beautiful and peaceful and felt like our own private little oasis. The rooms were lovely and cozy, equipped with mosquito nets and fans. The food selection was great and tasted even better than it looked. But what stood out so much more was the service!!! Everyone was fantastic, but the one who really made an impression was the amazing employee named Gift (the first person we really had the pleasure of meeting upon arriving in Uganda). He set SUCH a positive tone for the rest of our trip. He was so warm, welcoming, informative, and accommodating, and his company was just so enjoyable. We could not get enough of him, and ended up not sleeping and instead soaking in every minute we could spend with this treasure! He felt like family, we could not wait to see him again on our last night. Papyrus is so lucky to have such a passionate and amazing employee, he really is a blessing! Gift, you truly made this an unforgettable experience for us. We cannot wait to see you again in the future!

Great Service And A Serene Environment The staffs at Papyrus Guest house made us feel at home with their excellent service and a warm welcome. Sam, Fatmah, Paul, Lisa, just but to mention a few were really courteous and welcoming. The ambiance of serenity gives you a heavenly impression. I appreciated using all Ugandan products in the bathroom, the meals were sumptuous and prepared with the touch of an experienced chef. Waking up to the chirping of birds and the silence of my surroundings made me have a relaxed feeling throughout our stay.

Next time again! Nicely located guesthouse with garden and bar, all clean, friendly staff, rich menu. Great starting point for Things to do in Entebbe and Safari start. All very relaxed. The rooms are very tidy and have their own small terrace. Very nice conversation with our service "poison"!

Great little guest house 20mins from Entebbe Airport with free shuttle. This is a lovely tranquil guest house only 15-20 minutes from the airport. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Meals are taken on an outdoor terrace and there’s a lovely seating area in the garden by the bar. Gift looked after us during our stay. The service he provided was excellent.

5 star service from the staff We stayed twice 2 nights before touring and 3 nights after. We found the staff to be extremely helpful. Gift with his amazing smile set a standard that few around the world can match. Fatumah, Florence,Samuel and Edward were absolutely special and we have no hesitation recommending them for their wonderful service. We loved staying at Papyrus which is around a European 3 star property and will stay again on our return. Both rooms were very clean and spacious . We used their van to go to the Victoria Mall and souvenir shops at a cost of $ 20 US. A tip when in Uganda, although US currency is accepted in most places in the cities you also need to carry Ugandan shillings for smaller retailers.

Safe, Quiet, Comfy Stay in Entebbe The guesthouse offered several quiet rooms close to yet far from the bustle of the town. A walk-in shower with hot water and fragrant toiletries, mosquito nets, and comfy beds made a good night's rest. The all inclusive offered meal choices. The pumpkin soup started dinner. My talapia was grilled to perfection with potatoes and grilled veggies. The tender pork chop topped off our meal. Gift provided impeccable table service for dinner and breakfast, with 4 choices, no buffets. Several dining areas are available in three small outdoor settings. Tony jumped to carry our luggage from and back to our vehicle with perfect timing. This safe place provides a quiet night's rest.

Tranquil oasis near the airport We stayed here at the beginning and end of our tour and had a really lovely stay each time. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Gift who catered to our every need, and the guesthouse was a really tranquil oasis to relax in. We highly recommend staying at Papyrus Guest House!
